Submission of final theses
Theses can still be submitted in electronic form unless otherwise stated on the application form when registering. If bound is ticked as the submission form on the application form, please submit 2 bound copies and a digital version by email by the deadline. The submission can only be made after registration in QIS.
Please send the final theses by email (only!) to the Examinations Office. The latest online submission is possible until 23:59 on the day of submission. If it is submitted later or takes longer due to the data transfer, then the submission has not been made on time and a penalty grade of 5 will follow. Therefore, please allow enough time for the transmission of the e-mail.
We also require the following completed documents for the submission of the final thesis. (data entry form (signature of the supervisor is not required) + info certificate):
You can publish your thesis in the library. Instructions and the corresponding document can be found here

On the basis of Section 5 (4) of the supplementary regulations to the examination regulations for the SAB and SAM degree programmes, the Examination Board has therefore decided for WS 21/22:
The colloquia for the Bachelor's thesis and Master's thesis can be held both in normal face-to-face format (PKQ) and in video conference format (PKQ-V). Which examination format is used is determined by the supervisor in consultation with the student and the second examiner. If no agreement is reached, the examination will be conducted in the PKQ-V format. The supervisor shall inform the student and the second examiner of the examination format at least one week before the examination.
This regulation applies from now on for the rest of the current winter semester 2021/22.

Dear students,
Please note the information on behaviour during on-campus examinations.
Thank you very much.

On 5 May 2020, the Examination Board for Social Sciences made the following decision:
The study periods of the summer semester 2020 for students enrolled in the SAB and SAM degree programmes on or since 1 April 2020 will not be counted towards the standard period of study in accordance with Section 20 (5) SächsHSFG. The decision is based on the assessment that the study conditions were restricted by the contact restrictions of the Saxon Corona Protection Ordinances in such a way that it was not possible to complete the coursework in full and that these restrictions are not the responsibility of the students. A separate application by the student is not required.
