Computer pool
The computer pool is available for teaching and outside of lectures for free work.
All students have access to the WLAN(eduroam). Access data and any necessary software are provided exclusively by the IT Service Centre.
For some content you will need authentication in the university network(VPN).
PC workstations are also available in the north and south studio areas. These are intended both for free work and for print job processing.
One PC workstation is available in room Li416 (printing and graphics centre). This is to be used exclusively for print jobs.
All PCs are equipped with identical software configurations and are administered by the IT Service Centre.
Principles for the use of the PC pool/studio PCs
The following applies in principle:
- The PC pool offers workstations and is not a break room!
- The PC pool is not a dining room!
- The PC pool is not a modelling workshop!
- The PC pool is not a storage room!
- Workstations must be left tidy.
If you notice any defects, please report them immediately to rechentechnik.fas (at) htwk-leipzig.de.
Please name the device (computer number) and describe the defect.
- Theft will be reported!
The PC pool is under video surveillance.
- By using the PC pool/studio PCs , you automatically recognise the terms of use!
- Anyone who disregards the principles will be blocked from using it!
