Guide to (online) publications

The Faculty of Architecture and Social Sciences would like to give interested parties an insight into the results of students' work and therefore regularly publishes selected works in consultation with the supervising lecturers.

As a rule, the supervisor serves as the contact person.

Layout:

File format:
*.pdf
Required resolution:
300 dpi
Required format:
W297 mm x H210 mm or 3508 pixels x 2480 pixels

Image resolutions in the layout:

All images for the layout should be inserted at 300 dpi.
File format PNG-24 or JPG recommended.

Plan drawings:

Line widths and hatching must be set to the paper size regardless of scale. This guarantees legibility.

Submission/data delivery:

Please name the files exclusively as follows:

• surname_first_name_title (*.pdf)
• Example: mustermann_max_SafeHouse

The data is submitted via OPAL (in the respective module).
Please note the submission deadline!
The PDF should not exceed a file size of 20 MB.

PLEASE NOTE:
No individual pages.
Combine all pages into one PDF file.

We would like to present selected projects on the faculty's website and Instagram account. Five images should be submitted for this purpose. Images can be plan drawings, extracts from the layout, visualisations or model photos. A short introductory text is also important. The entire work can be provided as a PDF document (only on the website). Please note a maximum file size of 20 MB. A comprehensive explanatory report can also be published on the website.
