Prize of the Friends of the HTWK Leipzig
On the recommendation of the faculties (dean in consultation with the advisory board member and student representatives), the association awards an annual prize to the best graduates of HTWK Leipzig (the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Media can each submit two prize proposals).
This prize recognises outstanding academic achievements and thus draws the attention of the business community and the public to the laureates and the innovative potential of HTWK Leipzig.
The criteria for nomination are
- Outstanding quality of the graduation thesis
- Overall performance in studies
- Participation in academic self-administration
As a rule, the prize is awarded by the Chairman of the Sponsors' Association and the Rector at the annual meeting of the Sponsors' Association in January of each year. The award winners each produce a poster on the results of their work, which is presented to the public at the award ceremony.
